Bean Counter Coffee started shortly after the owner, Ashley Williams, graduated from Canisius College in 2010. Going to school for accounting, the job market was tough directly after graduation and there were not a lot of prospects. When Ashley heard the rumor that there was a possibility developing to start a coffee business venture, she quickly decided to jump on the opportunity. Within three days, Bean Counter Coffee was born.
